Flat Stanley
So last week my Step Sister asked me if I would be willing to help my nephew Jack with his Geography project for Kindergarten. I said sure! I had never heard of the project. It is called Flat Stanley. You send him to your furthest relative & you take him around to different places to see in your city. So yesterday the kids and I went out & took him to the Police Station, Fire Department, Post office, Cattle Call Rodeo Arena, E's School & B's Awana's. We had a blast doing this & I hope someday my kids do it so there cousins can experience it. It's a fun project. When we send Flat Stanley back to Jack they will look on a map & see these photos we took & look them up on a map of our City. What a great idea Flat Stanley is!!

Emma lost tooth #2
Emma's New Bed
Emma inherited her great Aunt Margie's bed after she passed away in December. We just recently went down to pick it up in San Marcos, Yesterday when Emma was at school Daddy decided to put it together for her so she would be surprised when she got home from school. After picking her up I told her we had a surprise for her & to walk up stairs & close her eyes, when she opened the door & saw it all set up she was in Awe, she had such a big smile. I know Aunt Margie was watching down from Heaven as she walked in & got to see how excited she was to have her bed:) Aunt Margie wanted her to have her princess bed. We miss her so much, but it makes us happy that Emma is so happy to have something special from her Aunt Margie.

Family Christmas Gift in April
For Christmas this past year my Dad & Len surprised the family & gave us the gift of going to Laughlin Avi Resort & Casino in April 2011. So come April 1st we packed up & headed up to Laughlin to join the rest of our family & enjoy a mini vacation. We all really enjoyed ourselves, I thought it was a great gift! Definitely would go there again, they have a kiddie pool that is perfect for the kids, they have a nice beach too with covered umbrella's, they had a place you could check in your kids at night so us Adults could go gamble and have Adult time. Also the best .99 Ham & Egg breakfast that was actually pretty good! ha ha! Oh & I cant forget to mention the arcade that the kids enjoyed getting rubber duckies out of the play til you win toy chest. I think we spent 10 just on rubber ducks!! It was nice being together for a weekend, we enjoyed that alot!
