Girls night out

My sister & I took my Mom out to Lazy Dog Cafe for Dinner & to The Angel Game for her Mother's Day gift this year. We really had a great time, it was like the old days just us girls. The food was delish & the Angels Won 5 to 0! I think Mom really enjoyed herself.

Easter Lunch at The Chaver's

We had such a lovely lunch that my Sister in law prepared for our family. The kids had a great time hunting for 136 Easter Eggs. There were 7 kids to hunt so each kid got to get 19 so at the end they were all counting to see how many they had, it was a blast in their huge front yard!! We also got to celebrate Abbie's 10th Birthday & have yummy cupcakes prepared by Lisa & Carly. Everyone had a great time!

Easter

We had a very nice Easter. We were lucky to have Jesse, Jenny & my Mother in law come stay Saturday night & Easter morning we had breakfast casserole & strawberry waffles & we did Easter baskets & an Egg Hunt, the kids really enjoyed it. Daddy then had to go to Vegas for training, & we went to The Chavers for Easter lunch & then to Nana's for a few days for Emma's Spring break. It's been nice to get away, but I'm glad to be home & rest!

Brady's Awana's Ceremony

Brady is so sad Awana's has come to an end for the year, on the bright side He will be going to Vacation Bible School in June with Austin & Emma. He has really enjoyed going to Awana's every Wednesday night, he learns a bible verse, they teach him to let Jesus lead the way, it has also let him interact with kids his age & from what his teacher says He is really quiet, but very happy & gets along with all the kids. He is starting preschool in the Fall & I am sure he will love it just as much as Awana's. I'm excited for his new journey!

Cooling off

Today we took the kids out front to enjoy some playtime with the neighbor kids. It began to get so warm Bailey asked if they could run through the sprinklers, I thought sure why not! Minutes later she brought over a tarp & she said let's Slip & Slide, ha ha! What a great idea when you don't have a slip & slide. The kids had a blast! I'm so excited this year that we have grass & not dirt, that way the kids can go outside & stay cool by running through the sprinklers since it does get over 100 here in the Summer & its hard to go outside if you don't have a pool or water to splash around in! Today it was 98, even had to crank the AC! Not looking forward to that bill :(

Cousin's

The past two days we have had My Sister & her son Domi out visiting. The kids had alot of fun together, Domi is the perfect age for starting to get his own personality The kids truly bonded this trip & at our recent trip to Avi. I just love seeing my kids interact with him, they just love him so much & they can't wait for Auntie Sissy to have baby #2 which arrives this Summer! We were sad to say our goodbyes today, it actually was a very rough day on Emma & Brady, they are emotional just like Mommy & kept crying I miss Sissy & Domi, it made my heart break inside, they just love her so much!! We'll see them in a few weeks thankfully!

The Big Winner!!

After we left Cattle Call this afternoon to go home we recieved a call that Austy had won a new bike from there Bike raffle! We were so excited for him! Here is a picutre of him with his new TURBO BIKE, what a great day!!
